Coach Jose Maria Bazan was born in Corral de Bustos, Cordoba, Argentina. He played on Argentina’s U-20 National team at the 1991 World Cup in Portugal. From 1992 - 1998, Coach Bazan played professionally in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, and Texas. Bazan founded the River Plate Soccer Club in 1997. In 2008, River Plate merged with Andromeda, where Bazan became assistant coach for the National 90s Team and Director of Coaching. He holds a USSF license, as well as a coaching director diploma. Coach Bazan holds many training diplomas from prestigious courses worldwide, including Primer Congreso de Futbol in Argentina, Soccer Nationals Youth Instructor in Argentina, Achievement of Trajectory in Soccer from Argentina, and Psychological course. Coach Bazan was selected to be an assistant coach for the U-20 Venezuela Team in the World Cup Qualifying Tournament in VENEZUELA in 2009. Bazan is also an ambassador of soccer in his native country and founder of Escuela de Futbol Josema Bazan which is located in Cordoba, Argentina.
