BRAGS
Marcio is very proud to have coached many players that have become successful with their soccer careers. Jared Jeffrey, Ian Kalis, Omar Gonzales all since they were 10 years of age. Ramon Nunez, Shea Salinas, Bruno Guarda, Spencer Wasworth, Jay Needham, Hunter Feedman, Daniel Antunez and many others. Each of these players attended skills with Marcio four times as week and practice with Marcio twice weekly until they left. Jared Jeffery, Ian Kalis and Omar Gonzales all left to play for the U17 U.S. National Team. While in residence, Jared and Ian were both chosen to be Captain of the team.
Ian attended Duke University on a full scholarship and is now transferred to SMU. Currently still playing for SMU.
Omar was the Capt. For the University of Maryland where his team was two time National Champions. Currently he is playing for LA Galaxy where he was voted “Rookie of the Year for the 2009 Season” for the MLS League. He also represented the U.S. in the U17 World Cup and the U20 National Team at the Pan American Games in Brazil.
Jared Jeffery was chosen as Captain of the U17 U.S. National Team for the World Cup in Korea. He recently signed a contract to play for Mainz FC, 1st Division, Bundesleuge in Germany.
Ramon Nunez is currently on the Honduras National Team where he will be playing in the 2010 World Cup. He came to Marcio at age 12 until 19 years of age. He attended SMU for one year and was drafted as a first pick by MLS for FC Dallas. Ramon signed with Puebla, which is a Mexican first class division where he was given the title of "The Little Prince". He then went to Cruz Azul. This year he played for Olympia, the National Champions of Honduras.
Shea Salinas attended Marcio’s camp in San Angelo, Texas. Marcio convinced his father to move him to Dallas where he could train him. Shea played for Marcio for 5 years. He is currently playing in the MLS for Philidelphia Union.
Bruno Guarda was brought by Marcio from Brazil at the age of 13 to play for his 86 Team. After attending SMU on a full scholarship, he was picked by FC Dallas and is currently still playing.
Spencer Wadsworth played for Marcio until the age of 13 to 19. He attended Duke University on full scholarship. After finishing college he was drafted to New England Revolution and later to FC Dallas.
Jay Needham played for Marcio from U13 to U19. He went to SMU and was later drafted by DC United.
Daniel Antunez played for Colorado Rapids and today is playing in Finland.
